A fully responsive website for the North Highlands’ main distributor for Ifor Williams


D.R. Alexander & Son is the North Highlands’ main distributor for Ifor Williams trailers and a supplier or self-storage containers and cabins.   With premises in both Caithness and Inverness, this family run business offers the sale, service and repair of trailers.

Having started off with a basic website presence, Navertech was commissioned to re-design the website to make better use of the marketing visual assets available to them as an Ifor Williams distributor, and to create a more engaging website experience for its customers.   It was essential that the website carried the prominent and recognisable Ifor Williams branding, whilst portraying D.R. Alexander’s own business name and contact details.

A new mobile-friendly and engaging website was designed, carrying the Ifor Williams visual identity, and a comprehensive product section was established to better promote the complete range of Ifor Williams trailers available.   Due to the firm also selling used trailers, a section was setup so that office staff can upload used trailers for sale and share this across social media channels.   The firm’s other services such as Containers, Cabins and Self-Storage were also given a space on the website.

A product carousel provides a visual way to browse and access the product range, making it easier for the user to identify the type of trailer they wish to view.
