Following on from a complete re-development and re-branding of the Wild West e-commerce website as Meat Snacks Shop – Navertech was commissioned to design and implement a Pay-Per-Click campaign on Google.
We formulated a strategy around the PPC Shopping campaign type, which displays product snippets directly above the organic results and in place of the more traditional PPC adverts.
This technique relied on a deeper integration with the website, so a specific product feed was developed to make the key product information available to the shopping campaign, ensuring it is as up to date as possible.
Due to the generic nature of the keyword phrased related to the product range e.g. “jerky” and “biltong” and with an international appeal, a more focused and targeted PPC campaign was designed and fully optimised to reduce the number of paid-for-wasted-clicks and to maximise the budget.
The campaign was a huge success with more targeted traffic leading through to the e-commerce website which itself was fully optimised for ease of use, and with the two combined resulted in an increase in online sales month on month.
