Greenland House Website

A fully responsive website with booking system for a small B&B in the Highlands

Intro

Greenland House is an eight-bedroom Highland B&B and self-catering cottage based in Castletown, Caithness.   Located just off the main road between Thurso and John O’Groats, it is ideally placed for travellers of the North Coast 500 route.

Navertech was commissioned to design and build a new website to promote the B&B and self-catering cottage and to advise on which online booking platform would be best suited to a small B&B.

A modern and responsive website was designed in-house, incorporating a visual identity designed by North Design.   The focus of the website design was on the photography, as the beauty of the building and the interior was simply stunning.  Then, the website was built using a mixture of content written by the client, and professional photography by local Angus Mackay photography.

WordPress was put in place to give the client editorial control, and the Q-Book online booking system from Queensborough group was recommended by us, and fully integrated with the website so that guests can check availability, book and pay online.

Client Said

We are very happy with our website and the service that was provided to us – as a small B&B and being new to the area, we were fortunate to find a company locally that could produce a professional website for us
