HOSTING
Make your website run quickly and ensure your website is always available through reliable and cost-effective hosting services.
We are proud of the fact we operate our own hosting infrastructure, meaning we don’t resell hosting packages from a first or second tier hosting provider. This commitment ensures we can offer flexible and cost-effective hosting services, which can usually handle any requirement. We can also help you choose suitable domain name(s) for your business and manage this for you to ensure your domain name is always renewed on time.

Frequently Asked Questions
Where is my website hosted?
We operate several dedicated and managed servers which are co-located in several purpose-built data centres in the UK. At present, our servers are based in Hampshire, but in the digital age, the distance is really no obstacle.
What do I do if there is a problem?
Our in-house engineers are on-hand to deal with any problems you have. The best way to get support is to raise a ticket by emailing support@navertech.com
Do you resell hosting from a tier 2 provider?
No, and we’re very proud to offer our own managed hosting services which do not rely on any tier 2 providers – and in fact, we are technically a tier 2 provider ourselves, with the data centre itself being tier 1.
What is a domain name?
A domain name is essentially your business name online. The most recognisable domain name extension is .com but in the UK the most appropriate extension is on ending in .co.uk. If you are building your brand, we usually recommend choosing a name which is available as both .com and .co.uk – however, there is now a huge list of top-level domains such as .scot .shop and .business, so it has become much easier to find an available name for your business.
What’s the difference between managed hosting and a dedicated server?
Managed hosting is typically sharing resources on a dedicated server with other customers, and this is an industry standard way to offer affordable hosting to small and medium businesses. Just because it’s shared hosting, it doesn’t mean anyone else can access your website files or data. Your web space is fully secured and segregated, so it’s really just a matter of resources. A dedicated server is exactly that, an entire server dedicated to your website or websites – and that is especially good if you have a high volume of traffic, have several websites, or if you don’t like the idea of sharing resources to keep your hosting costs down.
